ABOUT MARTIAL ARTS
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

We Serve the Community!

At Choe’s HapKiDo Martial Arts, community involvement is at the core of our values. We actively participate in fundraisers and drives, including annual kick-a-thons, blanket drives, school supplies drives, and food bank drives. Our commitment to giving back extends to organizations such as the American Cancer Society, The Inhumane Pet Society, and the Spectrum Autism Support Group.

Recent Community Outreach Opportunities:

In October 2023, our team efforts resulted in a $650 donation to the Spectrum Autism Support Group. Join us in making a difference, one kick at a time!

In December 2023, we volunteered at Hope Lodge in Decatur, serving dinner for cancer residents, and at Emory University’s Clairmont campus, providing dinner for 50 people involved in cancer treatment programs.

In January 2024, we donated $260 to the American Cancer Society in honor of Jack Lowe, a fellow HapKiDo student battling cancer.

In April 2024, we proudly hosted our 6th Annual Kick-a-thon, raising over $4000 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). For the last six years, we have loved running this fundraiser.

Every spring, our students at different Choe’s HapKiDo locations rally together, gather sponsors, and commit to completing all their kicks. This annual fundraiser brings all kinds of communities together!

At Choe’s HapKiDo, we believe that giving back to the community is an essential part of our journey to becoming the best Black Belts.

If you have a cause, organization, or fundraiser that could benefit from our support, we would love to be involved! Together, we can make a difference in the communities we serve.
