Kids

For kids, our instructors and students engage in martial arts-themed games like zombie tag, races mimicking animals, and obstacle courses. These games not only keep the kids moving and help them blow off steam but also reinforce key martial arts principles in a fun and interactive way.

The Martial Arts Cumming Georgia Community

Cumming Martial Arts Instructor Team

Our martial arts community is truly special, fostering strong bonds between students of all ages and backgrounds. One of the key reasons our students love our program is the exceptional instructors, assistant instructors, and junior instructors who play a pivotal role in their lives, both on and off the mat. These mentors are not only skilled in martial arts but also deeply committed to helping students grow and succeed, creating a supportive and inspiring environment for everyone.

One of the most rewarding aspects of our community is the sense of camaraderie and friendship that develops among students. Regardless of age, background, or culture, everyone comes together under one roof to train and learn from each other. This diversity enriches the learning experience, exposing students to different perspectives and creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and respected. It’s an honor for us to provide a space where people from all walks of life can come together, forge meaningful connections, and grow both as martial artists and individuals.

What are some of the Skills Gained from Martial Arts?

Respect

At Martial Arts Cumming Georgia, we instill respect in children by emphasizing discipline, humility, and honor. Through training, kids learn to respect their instructors, peers, and the art itself. They develop self-control, understanding the consequences of their actions. This respect extends beyond the dojo, positively impacting their interactions and relationships outside of training.

Choe's HapKiDo is a great place for both adults and kids. The staff and instructors are absolutely wonderful and truly care about their students. They throw fun holiday events for the kids and family as well. If you're looking for a place for yourself or your child to learn martial arts, they have great promotions year round that you can try out. I decided to try this place out for my son based on past reviews and surely was not disappointed.

The instructors at this location are more than instructors they are like a family. They teach discipline and structure. They reward the students when they do good and discipline them when they are not doing well such as push ups or horse stance. It takes a village to raise children and they are big part of the village. One of my grandsons is a current student and the other one will start in May. Thank you Choe’s Hap Kido for all you do.
