3rd-degree HapKiDo black belt at Choe’s HapKiDo of Cumming GA, helping students discover confidence and potential through martial arts.
Growing up, Zach Vaughn dreamed of training in martial arts but didn’t have the opportunity as a child. In 2015, he finally began his HapKiDo journey in Cumming, Georgia, and quickly dedicated himself to training every day. In his words, “I dove in as deep as I could!” Within two years of training every day, he earned his 1st-degree black belt, followed by his 2nd degree in 2020 during the pandemic, when he also became the Head Instructor at Choe’s HapKiDo. In 2024, he achieved his 3rd degree. Instructor Vaugn’s teaching approach reflects his own journey—he sees each student as that younger version of himself and works to inspire confidence, perseverance, and personal growth in every class.
