Instructor Brian Sweet began his martial arts journey like many kids—watching Power Rangers and dreaming of training one day. What started as childhood inspiration has grown into a lifelong pursuit of discipline, growth, and transformation. Recently promoted to 4th-degree black belt in Chung Mu HapKiDo, Brian has earned top placements in both federation and open-style tournaments. At Choe’s HapKiDo in Duluth, Georgia, he teaches martial arts classes for kids and adults, emphasizing respect, confidence, and patience. Instructor Timmy Truong has been training in Chung Mu HapKiDo since 2009 under Master Foor and holds a 4th-degree black belt. Teaching HapKiDo in Duluth, Georgia since 2013, he has guided multiple generations of kids, adults, junior leaders, and black belt instructors. A multi-time champion in sparring competitions, Timmy specializes in self-defense, sparring, and martial arts philosophy, ensuring students understand techniques fully and perform at their highest potential. His teaching approach focuses on assessing each student’s current level and improving them by 1% every class, all while maintaining the integrity of the art.
